How are robotics and AI impacting architecture and design?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/designmuseumfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/robot_arch.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Mahesh Daas<\/strong>, President of the Boston Architectural College,\u00a0presents findings related to his recent book,\u00a0<em>Towards a Robotic Architecture<\/em>. The field of robotics is coming of age. Robotics and artificial intelligence represent the next cutting edge technology to transform the fields of architecture and design. The past decade\u2019s surge towards more computationally defined building systems and highly adaptable open-source design software has left the field ripe for the integration of robotics whether through large-scale building fabrication or through more intelligent\/adaptive building systems.
